Introducing two animals of different kingdoms can present itself to be quite the challenge, but if performed properly and carefully, it can be a very rewarding experience. Most of the times, people think of how are they going to introduce their adult cat to a puppy, or vice versa. But this family had a very unique opportunity, they introduced their pet German Shepherd to a tiny wild gecko!

This footage was shot when this gentle German Shepherd met a tiny wild gecko for the first time and everything went splendidly because German Shepherds are known for their impeccable ability to make friends easily with any kinds of animals! This friendly dog breed would befriend any animal, you name it!

German Shepherd dogs are actually great at guarding, that is the main reason why they are the number one police dog world wide! They are well renowned for their protectiveness over family members and when that family includes some kind of animal, their protectives includes those members of the family as well.

When we first watched this video we were expecting the giant dog to attack the tiny creature. However, the gentle giant just wanted to play with the tiny gecko. Engaging in play mode, the German Shepherd is seen standing over the gecko, trying to touch it with its big wet nose in order to break the ice and send him a friend request!
