Voters support DA Garza's progressive policies in Travis County

On March 7, 2024, incumbent Travis County District Attorney José Garza won the Democratic nomination despite a well-funded campaign against him, stating that he wasn't surprised by the victory due to his community's support for his progressive policies focused on criminal justice reform and police accountability.
