This is HOW TO GET RID OF BLACK BEARD ALGAE!

I had a great issue with black beard algae (BBA) in my planted aquarium and this method is all that worked for me to get rid of it.

What you will need:
3% Hydrogen peroxide
Seachem - Flourish Excel

First stage:
1. Increase the flow in you aquarium as much as possible
2. Turn off all filtration
3. Ad 1ml of 3% Hydrogen peroxide per 1L aquarium
water
4. Terminate stage one by doing a 75% water change.

Stage 2
1. Dose Seachem - Flourish excel at double the recommended daily dose for 2 weeks
2. Watch the algae die in the weeks

And then you enjoy a algae free aquarium!
