Column of Yars intercontinental ballistic missile launchers march from Ivanovo to Moscow region for drills before military parade on Red Square

A column of the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile mobile launchers began marching from the deployment area, namely, Teykovo in Ivanovo region.

The column moves on the M7 federal highway.

During the preparation to the parade on the Red Square, in January-February, the formation’s Strategic Missile Forces unit parade crews personnel underwent drills and control exercises.

After the control exercises on special training and driving the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile mobile launchers in a column, the Strategic Missile Forces and Vladimir-based missile formation commission authorised to allow the servicemen to participate in the drills for the parade.

Personnel and hardware of the missile formation from Teykovo have been participating in military parades on the Red Square since 2008.
