Escalating violence in Haiti as one of the largest gangs under Jimmy Chérizier ("Barbecue"), Head of the "Revolutionary Forces of the G9 Family and Allies (abbreviated "G9" or "FRG9"), controls 80% of Haiti's capital (Port-Au-Prince). Haiti's Prime Minister Ariel Henry is stuck out of country after seeking help from Caribbean leaders and the UN. Gangs attacked two major prisons and released 4,000 inmates, attacked the airport, and attacked a police academy.
