OTA TV Bandscan In Western New York | Lockport, NY

In this video, I show the OTA TV stations that are receivable on a daily basis in Lockport, NY.

Equipment I used in the video:
- To tune the ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 signals, I used SiliconDust HDHomeRuns
- To decode the ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 signals, I used an app called Channels for HDHomeRun running on my M2 MacBook Air
- To show signal strength, signal quality, and symbol quality, I used the HDHomeRun Config GUI for Windows

The reception of these stations required dedicated HDHomeRun network connected tuners and dedicated antennas for specific TV bands and specific TV regions. The average OTA TV antenna user will not be receiving all of these stations simultaneously in this region.

The final cost of the HDHomeRuns, antennas, and other equipment was less than 2 years worth of a previous Spectrum cable TV bill.

You can monitor the reception of all of these stations in real time by visiting https://tropo.wnyovertheair.com
