Indeed Bizarre because if your reality is not really real and you are suffering but you are also drugged to feel good then that is not ok, its like giving a drug to someone that doesn't know he or she is taking it. Also Ditmann here assumes that people will feel good in the Matrix but the crude reality is not like in the movie, people feel bad in a totalitarian control type of CCP government. Even democracy under Covid which had elements of a Matrix people didn't feel good. Sure, for some it was nice to stay in the home in the beginning of course good things also happen but in the long term most people refuse the Matrix. We are only breaking the illusion the false perception not the reality, this doesnt mean that everything created needs to be broken to experience freedom. The Matrix nowdays is a false perception enhanced by all sorts of AI like in China to cover up a mass of shit. People are not more happy they are forced to say they are happy or chemically induced happyness which is not real. Sure, a drug can be used voluntarly but you cant give people drugs and demand they be happy with you giving them drugs.
