750 National Guard New York Deployed in the NY Subway System

750 New York National Guard soldiers were deployed in a security role for bag checks to deter crime in the subway. Yesterday, New York Mayor Eric Adams said he would be reintorducing bag checks amid rising crime. Governor Hochul seeks to add even more security measures.
