Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says a jury in Kent County

Fifty-four-year-old Husam Abed was treating patients in Grand Rapids after his medical license had been suspended in May 2022. Abed will be sentenced in late May. He was found guilty of six felony charges, and the charge can carry up to four years in prison.
