Bring your kids Downtown for Friday's Family Day at the Cincinnati Home and Garden Show
Friday is the perfect day to bring your family downtown to the Cincinnati Home and Garden Show at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Friday's Family Day includes child-friendly seminars, face painting, take-home crafts and more. Special features will include presentations from Cincinnati Zoo zookeepers and a book reading from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday with WCPO's own Lucy May and Kevin Necessary, author and illustrator of the picture book "My Best Friend Fiona." There will also be a #TeamFiona bag giveaway (while supplies last). The show features more than 100,000 square feet of exhibits, including 10,000 square feet of full-scale vignettes of landscapes and hardscapes, which will replicate yards with paved walkways, patios, flowers, shrubbery, water features, gazebos, hot tubs, garden walls and more. More than 400 landscape and interior designers, remodeling specialists, manufacturers, retail stores, specialty boutiques and contractors set up on the show floor to preview the spring and remodeling season.
