Fisherman Drops Huge Fish Over The Side Of Boat

Having been a fishing a few times in our lives, there are fish you are going to catch and release and there are fish you hope to keep. Usually the keepers are for eating, but we grew up like that, not as sport fishermen.

I'm fairly certain this is where legendary "The fish was THIS big" stories come from.

Our hero in this video is man named Sal. It appears that he and some friends are coming back from what looks like a successful fishing trip. The livewell, or baitwell depending on its use, appears to have a decent number of fish swimming around in it. Sal pulls out a fish that looks to be pretty good size. Just eyeballing it here the fish looks to be, at a minimum, a solid 25-inches in length, so we are not sure what Sal's friend is apologizing for, or if he is joking. Of course, we could not quite hear what measurement he gave. Sal appears disappointed and he starts to bring the fish back to the livewell. Or maybe he was getting a different grip, as he lifts the fish again.
