Europe Gunpowder Shortage for Ukraine Defensive Likely Due to 2021 China Sanctions

The EU is struggling to produce shells for Ukraine's defensive due to the lack of Nitrocellulose (guncotton) which mainly comes from Xinjiang in China. In 2021, The EU, UK, US, and Canada sanctioned Xinjiang and targeted their cotton industry due to Human Rights violations regarding the Uyghur Muslim population.
