Our Homestead Journey: Changing Up Meat Chicken Breeds!

Looking for a hardier, healthier breed of chicken to raise for our family freezer. We introduced the Rudd Ranger this year rather than the "Broiler" also known as the Jumbo Cornish Cross. After just a month we can see a significant difference and what we would call success with this new breed.
