Faulty Voting Machines and Post Election Audits with Angela Shepherd

Imagine being told that Alabama was the gold standard of elections and election integrity only to find out that the “state of the art” voting tabulators take scissor cut reprinted absentee ballots.

Like so many of us after the 2020 election, Angela Shepherd began to have questions surrounding the election process. Rather than becoming a keyboard warrior complaining on the internet about the glaring issues with the 2020 election across the nation, she felt led to actually do something, and to focus locally.

Angela has become an Alabama election expert since then and comes on to share the story of her journey, including how she earned the name “crazy ballot lady” after proving the tabulators can’t decipher between real and fake ballots, and creating a piece of legislation, HB 259, that would require a post election audit of all general elections in the state of Alabama.
