Today's Video is coming from Slab City California, a Magical Artistic Paradise hosting Salvation Mountain and East Jesus.

We visited the Slab city area the past week and were awestruck at the area. It's a mess. Full of so much trash, repurposed as "art".

Yes there are some really neat things to see in the area, the likes of Salvation Mountain, built by Leonard Knight in the 80's.

There are a lot of drugs in the area including a lot of, what an AirBNB listing for a Hostel in the area calls "gypsies".

I found myself fairly aghast that 1, the area exists and 2, the utter poverty in which so many people in the area seem to live.

Joelle has the history portion of the video and Rob will be sharing the commentary on the properties.

I'm confident our thoughts will displease a lot of viewers, so I am sorry in advance about it. The thoughts I share are simply my observation and opinions on the matter.
