Storm Shield Forecast morning update 2/28/18

It's a chilly start to the day but these clear skies take us back to the sunny 60s this afternoon in the valley with good air quality. The mountains are dealing with a lot of ice and slick roads, with the Kern River Valley topping out in the low 50s today. The south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park will climb to the mid-40s with more snowmelt before dropping to the 20s again overnight, leading to more ice.
