Three students arrested for making social media threats against Southport High School

Three students were arrested Tuesday for making social media threats against Southport High School. Perry Township Schools were alerted by Greenwood police about the threats Monday night. Southport police along with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and Perry Township School Police executed search warrants at the homes of the three students believed to be responsible. Southport police say they recovered several long guns and handguns, as well as electronic equipment that may have been used to make the threats.
