Scientists Announce Discovery of New Giant Anaconda Species in Amazon

Fifteen researchers announced in a scientific paper the discovery of a northern green anaconda. One of the co-authors of the paper released footage of him swimming with a 26-foot long southern green anaconda, which looks nearly identical to the new giant species he and others discovered but differs genetically.
