'The 2024 budget includes a commitment to allocate an extra $151 million over the upcoming three years towards bolstering wildfire readiness, prevention, response, and mitigation efforts. This supplementary funding aims to bolster our capacity to combat wildfires by enhancing resources, including personnel, aircraft, drones, artificial intelligence (AI), and night-vision technology.'
