Storm Shield Forecast morning update 2/27/18

Though the main push of our latest storm has already come and gone, the heart of the storm is moving overhead this morning, leaving us with showers through lunch time. We're slowly clearing out with a cool breeze this afternoon, so expect a high of 52 in Bakersfield, low 40s in the Kern River Valley, and just the mid-30s in Tehachapi and Frazier Park. The mountains will see a lot of ice overnight so be careful going over the passes but especially on those smaller side roads.
