Shadow Peashooter - was offered between Match 2, 2024 through March 9, 2024.

Shadow Peashooter is a member of the Conceal-Mint family.
Shadow Peashooter costs 125 Sun. (-25 Sun at level 6.)
Shadow Peashooter will fire a dark pea which does 30 damage. (+5 damage per level.)
If Shadow Peashooter is powered by Moonflower or other means, it will fire a dark laser which does 70 damage to all zombies in the lane. (+5 damage per level.)
If Shadow Peashooter is powered, each dark laser will stall the zombie for five (5) seconds.
If Shadow Peashooter is powered, it can swallow two (2) zombies who reach it. (+1 zombie on levels 5 and 9.)

Commentary:
Shadow plants have great synergy between them and Shadow Peashooter adds nicely to this synergy. We have found that a column of Shadow Peashooters on column 1. Some may argue that column 3 is a better location as thrown imps from Gargantuars would be swallowed up and thus be neutralized. While this is indeed true, Shadow Peashooter has a tendency to hide whenever a zombie get close and when this plant is hiding, it is not attacking any zombies. Shadow Peashooter has a touch of scaredy-cat in him so even a zombie on column 4 in a lane above or below will cause this plant to hide. Not exactly good when you want to eliminate zombies.

Bottom Line:
If you do not have this plant, you really should obtain it. As you can see from these walk-throughs, this is a nice plant. When Dusk Lobber or Dragon Bruit get added to the lawn, one can see the devastation this can bring to the horde.

Butter zombies 150 / 175 / 200 times.
What a way to start Penny's Pursuit. A Beghouled level where your only real hope is to quickly get Explode-o-Nut straight way and hope you can get matches quick enough and Explode-o-Nuts to thin out the zombie horde so you can repair the lawn.

Level 2 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Bonus 1 of 2
Survive for three (3) minutes.
Chosen Perk is FREEZE Zombies.
Survive and protect the endangered plants - Snapdragons on R234C3
Defeat not offered / 100 / 100 zombies.
Wallnuts on column 5 - conveyor belt. Be careful with plant food - get a lot early but none later. Keep for gargantuars.

Level 3 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Bonus 2 of 2
Survive the zombie attack - Last Stand Style.
Chosen Perk is Sun Break - Sun drops at regular intervals.
There are precious flowers on the lawn which can not be trampled - 3 & 4 / 4 & 5 / 5 & 6
Do not lose more than not offered / 5 / 2 plants
Starting Sun = 2,200 / 2,000 / 1,750
Use Boingsetta if available. Far less Sun than expected, even with the perk.

Level 4 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Bonus 2 of 2
Survive the zombie attack - Last Stand Style
Chosen Perk is FREEZE Zombies.
Chill zombies 25 / 35 / 50 times.
Defeat not offered / 20 / 30 zombies in not offered / 25 / 20 seconds.
