Mom upset over plea deal in daughter's death

The mother of a Charlotte County girl killed in a crash is angry about the plea deal she said the driver accepted. Investigators say 23-year-old Michel Brutus was driving down U.S.-41 in Port Charlotte in 2016 when he crashed into a tree, killing Brittany Beni and Wesley Chery. They said Brutus then ran off.
