i used to fantasize about being more part of the world
daydreaming all day in govt school
my headphones were my sanctuary
i am an actual girl but not modern in the slightest
i stopped wearing revealing clothing cos i didn't like the attention that i got
people don't understand how they come across
i make stuff cos i don't expect much from society
it never occurred to them that they're the ones that are supposed to come up w/ a solution
i am as happy as i can be in this bat cave
when are they gonna do what's better for em
i do this cos it's important to me

a story that can distract them from their existential crisis
maybe i have quite an advantage being so different
they love to show what they dunno
if they didn't project they'd off themselves
if you understand you can't stay angry
i don't expect them to let this go
i've already died multiple x
