A reoccurring makeup thief was handcuffed and placed behind bars, Friday. Collier County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an Ulta store located at 13100 Tamiami Trail after reports of a woman who had previously stolen from the store. An employee at the store told deputies that on a different occasion, 18-year-old Sara Krist opened multiple packages of makeup and concealed them without making a purchase, according to a CCSO report. Sara was easily identified because of her Ulta customer loyalty card. When deputies approached Sara in the store, she was immediately handcuffed and escorted to the employee office. Surveillance video showed that Sara stole multiple makeup items that same day. She was arrested and charged with Grand Theft.
