Relationship with God

James 1:27 (ERV): "The kind of religion that God accepts as pure and without fault is this: caring for orphans or widows who need help, and keeping yourself free from the world’s evil influence. This is the kind of religion that God accepts as pure and good."

Matthew 6:6 (ERV): "But when you pray, you should go into your room and close the door. Then pray to your Father who cannot be seen. Your Father can see what is done in secret, and he will reward you."

John 4:24 (ERV): "God is spirit. So the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Mar 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Joh 4:23 But the time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. In fact, that time is now here. And these are the kind of people the Father wants to be his worshipers.
