Join the Fight? The New Ukrainian Law Explained

Americans can now join the Ukrainian National Guard following a law passed by Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada. This law, officially integrating foreign fighters into the National Guard and its subordinate units, grants citizenship through simple procedures to all volunteers, providing them full legal status as official members of Ukraine’s military. The scariest thought, is this a step in normalizing Americans fighting on foreign soil. The good part of this though, everyone pushing hard for extending the war in Ukraine can go and practice what they preach.
