Panasonic S5II open gate 3:2 test footage with Dehancer 500T + 2383 film emulation

I have some Panasonic S5 II 6k open gate test I shot back in January around the Port Orchard waterfront during some rare winter sunshine in western Washington.

The footage has however been scaled down to 3240 x 2160 but it retains the full field-of-view that you would otherwise have with the 6K 3:2 camera footage proper.

One of the most noteworthy things to see here is the Lady Washington replica brig that was the HMS Interceptor in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and is currently docked at the public side of the Port Orchard Marina (at least as of late January).

I was almost hoping to include it in my review/tutorial video, however I wanted to keep the scope of that project within Portra 400 (and 250D), and including this would make it too long.

This test footage was graded with the Kodak Vision3 500T film and Kodak 2383 print profiles in Dehancer, which would more or less be a test of how the 200mbps 6K V-Log footage holds up to color grading. This was edited in Davinci Resolve Studio 18.6 using project-wide ACES color management.
