If Alexei Navalny had been a socialist or a trade unionist, I doubt MEPs would ever have even known his name. 200 Palestinian journalists have been murdered since Oct 7. They don't matter, because our 'ally' killed them. It's very clear the EU cares nothing about oppressed civil society unless it aligns with its geopolitical interests.
