In this video I talk about how you need to start thinking long-term and "big picture", and in turn, you will start making day-to-day decisions that won't set you back.

Many people with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) feel that they live in a fog, and sometimes it's hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel. Recovery can seem impossible when you know how bad your pain is today but don't have any idea how long it will be until you start feeling better again. The reality is that recovery takes time and patience, so many people give up before they even get started.

In order to recover from this condition, short-term thinking needs to be replaced by long-term goals.

The truth is, there's no one size fits all approach to treating CFS and it really depends on the individual. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome sufferers often find themselves juggling many responsibilities in order to balance their illness and maintain a sense of normalcy for themselves and their family members. Inevitably, this leads to short-term thinking because they have trouble saying no to opportunities that will make them crash.
