Former Labour MP George Galloway stormed to victory in the Rochdale by-election, with his party, the Workers Party of Great Britain bringing in 12,335 votes, a majority of almost 6,000 over his former party.
It follows a chaotic campaign, which Galloway described as a "poll on Gaza".
This chap has no idea, he is about as accurate as the weather forecasters. Lots of white working class would vote for him. It's not just a Muslim vote
People don't like war.
He won with a majority of 6000. That’s a win by appealing to all, not just the Muslim vote.
