Frightening Phone Footage From Inside A Helicopter Captures The Moment It Crashes With Six Onboard

A harrowing video has surfaced, capturing the panic within a tourist helicopter as it spiraled out of control and ultimately crashed shortly after take-off in Colombia. The helicopter, originally intended for a brief 12-minute journey to transport passengers to a fine-dining experience, lost control and descended rapidly, colliding with the side of a high-rise building in Medellin on Monday. Remarkably, all six individuals aboard the Bell 206 helicopter survived the terrifying incident. One passenger, however, experienced trauma and was promptly rushed to the hospital, where medical professionals treated a leg fracture and lacerations to the body.

Newly released footage provides a glimpse into the chaotic scene inside the cabin as the helicopter spun in the air before hurtling towards the ground. Among the passengers, Francisco Salas, a 36-year-old holidaymaker from Texas, can be heard in the video urgently contacting emergency services, communicating in a mix of Spanish and English. The intensity of the situation is palpable as the passengers grapple with the unfolding emergency within the confined space of the helicopter.
