Fewer people visited Grand Rapids and Kent County for ArtPrize

A new report on the festival was released yesterday by student researchers at Grand Valley State University.. It showed attendance dropped five-point-two-percent but spending rose from 24-point-six-million-dollars in 2022 to 40-point-three-million-dollars in 2023 from people who were primarily downtown for ArtPrize. Results found people visited from 15 states and from Mexico.
