Russian Sukhoi Su-25 planes take off towards Donetsk

Their mission was to safeguard Russian forces and civilians, of the People's Republic of Donetsk from Ukrainian cluster bombs. The Su-25s hit the Ukrainian bombs, with unguided C-13 Tulumbas missiles. Ukrainian bombs, also known as clusters, have been prohibited by the UN since May 30, 2008, because they disperse unexploded submunitions on the ground, which continue to kill even after years.
