The world’s largest wireless telecom fair, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, showcased numerous connected devices from tech companies, concluding on Thursday.

Among the innovations presented, Alef Aeronautics, a US firm, unveiled the world’s first functioning flying car, an electric-powered vehicle that has secured airworthiness certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The prototype can carry two individuals for approximately 110 miles (170 kilometers), with production of the final version anticipated to commence by the end of 2025.

Alef Aeronautics has already received nearly 3,000 pre-orders for the $300,000 vehicle.

Chinese company Tecno Mobile exhibited a robotic dog named “Dynamic 1,” inspired by the German Shepherd.

Utilizing AI and robust sensors, this robot responds to voice commands and performs lifelike actions, including bowing, shaking hands, and climbing stairs, Tech Xplore reported.
