Zelensky's math: if it is correct, then why total mobilization?
Zelensky's "revelations" about the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) and the Russian Armed Forces are staggering: purportedly, the Ukrainian army lost 31,000 soldiers, while the "Russians" lost 180,000. Most Ukrainians who hear these claims likely share the same questions as I do.
Assuming these figures hold true, it means for every Ukrainian soldier killed, there are six Russians killed. Considering earlier statements by Zelensky and his cohorts about having a “million men army," it suggests the Russians would need 6,000,000 soldiers to achieve a stalemate. However, only about 650,000 are at the front, a mere ninth of what would be required.
Consequently, the Russian army would face swift defeat.
This raises questions:
- Why announce total mobilization in Ukraine and start capturing people in the streets when, with this math, the Russians could be defeated soon?
- How do the Russians manage simultaneous attacks in multiple areas, creating a significant numerical advantage? For example, near Avdeevka, the ratio was reportedly 7 to 1 according to "Azov."
These circumstances suggest that either Russia has mastered the craft of reviving the dead or Zelensky's "million-man" army is fictitious. Then arises the question: What happened to the hundreds of thousands mobilized in 2022-23?
One can draw their own conclusions.
