Holy Quran - Sura 49, Al-Hujurat (The Rooms) - Recitation by Al-Afasi

Surah Al-Hujurat is the 49th surah (chapter) of The Glorious Quran. Name of the surah means The Apartments. It has 18 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in the holy city of Medina i.e., after Prophet ﷺ migrated to the city of Medina. This surah can be found in juz / paara 26.

Introduction:

This Medinian sûrah, which takes its name from the reference to the Prophet's private quarters in verse 4, instructs the believers on the proper conduct towards the Prophet (verses 1-5) and the social etiquette of dealing with other believers (verses 6-12) and the rest of humanity (verse 13). At the end of the sûrah, the nomadic Arabs are taught that true faith is proven by action not only words.
