UMKC closes campus early due to deteriorating weather conditions

UMKC students left early or didn't have class at all Tuesday due to deteriorating weather conditions. University officials were responding to the freezing rain and sheets of ice that covered the streets. We talked with UMKC students who were a little disappointed that they were sent home but said they'd use the rest of the day to study.
