DIY Construction Lumber Butcher Block Countertop #cargocamper

I needed a countertop for my camper, so keeping with the knotty pine theme I decided to use 2x12 construction lumber. This build is easy but can be time consuming considering the amount of glue ups and time waiting for construction lumber to properly dry. Besides dry time, construction lumber comes with other cons. Primarily how wonky the board can get when ripped. If I was making a countertop for my house, not my camper, I would probably pick birch, maple, or walnut. Something typically used for butcher blocks or cutting boards.
