Former Panthers WR Rae Carruth Apologizes for Murder of Baby's Mother & Causing Son's Cerebral Palsy

Former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Rae Carruth has served 17 years for conspiring to kill his pregnant girlfriend Cherica Adams, and with his jail sentence almost up, he’s speaking out. Cherica was shot four times while pregnant with Carruth's son Chancellor by someone Carruth hired. Chancellor survived, Cherica did not. In a 15-page, 3000 word letter to the mother of Cherica, who is now raising his son, Carruth said that he was never in a relationship with her but the two lived in lust. Yet, he is now apologizing.
