I am unqualified to diagnose or treat cancer, but as you know, I have helped many doctors develop strategies for defeating fungal infections in their patients. On a regular basis I get asked what I would do if I were in their shoes and was diagnosed with cancer. Given current science, first and foremost, I’d ask the treating doctor to rule out a fungal cause to the tissue being affected. Fifty years ago, I was premature with my assumption that since cases of cancer were responding favorably to an anti-fungal approach, ergo cancers are caused by fungus! Today, we know with certainty that some are.
