Two Female Cops Mistaken Home Owner As Intruder In Her Own Home, Shoot First & Ask Questions Later

A woman was shot five times by Houston police officers who mistook her for an intruder breaking into an apartment. Eboni Pouncy, 28, and her friend accidentally locked themselves out of the friend’s apartment. Pouncy’s 1-year-old daughter was still inside. They broke in through a window to get back inside. A neighbor mistook them for intruders and called the police. The Sheriff’s dept. report stated “the front window screen removed, broken glass and the blinds raised, near the front door.” The two had been inside about 20 minutes when they heard pounding on the door. They claim they did not hear the officers identify themselves. Pouncy reportedly grabbed her gun and went to the door before the officers ordered her to drop the weapon and then fired on her.
