Police investigate after body found in Shelby Township gravel pit

Shelby Township Police say they're investigating the discovery of a body in a gravel pit in the are of Auburn and Dequindre Roads. Police say the investigation started around 10 p.m. Monday and they have a good idea of who the person is but they are waiting to notify the family. Detectives will be back out at the scene later today after they make the identification.
