Сьогоднішня дата — не день жалоби, смутку чи страшних спогадів. Ми згадуємо цей день, як початок нової фази війни. Фази, що відкрила очі тисячам українців, які не хотіли помічати реальність. Реальність, яка була нашою буденністю з 2014 року.

На період кінця лютого припадають дати кривавого розстрілу Майдану, окупації Криму, врешті, початок повномасштабного вторгнення. Головна причина, чому ми згадуємо ці дати — це спроба оживити в памʼяті події і підсилити гнів та бажання помсти, які дають нам сили продовжувати боротьбу.

Війна — це нескінченний шлях до свободи. Відраховувати її початок, як і чекати закінчення — контрпродуктивно. На війні немає місця для втоми і розчарувань. Ми не шукаємо виправдань, не будуємо прогнозів. Ми — військовослужбовці, наша справа — воювати, наближаючи перемогу.

Ми не маємо права сумніватись в собі та сходити з обраного шляху.

Сьогоднішній день — лише дата в нескінченній боротьбі за свободу.

Today's date is not a day of mourning, sadness or terrible memories. We remember this day as the beginning of a new phase of the war. Phases that opened the eyes of thousands of Ukrainians who did not want to notice reality. A reality that has been our everyday life since 2014.

At the end of February, the dates of the bloody shooting of the Maidan, the occupation of Crimea, and finally the beginning of a full-scale invasion fall. The main reason why we remember these dates is to try to relive the events in our memory and to strengthen the anger and desire for revenge that give us the strength to continue the struggle.

War is an endless road to freedom. Counting its beginning, as well as waiting for its end, is counterproductive. There is no place for fatigue and disappointment in war. We are not looking for excuses, we are not making predictions. We are military personnel, our job is to fight, bringing victory closer.

We have no right to doubt ourselves and deviate from the chosen path.

Today is just a date in the endless struggle for freedom.
