More chaos to come - the SNP aren’t finished with Hoyle & Starmer yet!

A new eyewitness account has emerged of what went on between Speaker Hoyle & Keir Starmer over the SNP ceasefire vote.
Right, so the SNP are not finished yet on the matter of their day in parliament, the House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle in his desperation to quell dissent and preserve his own backside, keeping it firmly planted to that golden chair, gave them an out and they’re taking it, though perhaps not in the way he or anyone else expected.
If Hoyle thinks he’s safe again now, he isn’t and neither is Keir Starmer because even more details have now emerged, another eyewitness account from the corridor outside the Speaker’s chamber where Keir Starmer and Labour Chief Whip Alan Campbell were seen entering and leaving along with what was said and seen in the corridor afterwards…
Right, so if Keir Starmer thought he’d succeeded in winning the day for Israel, he came to his position on the SNP’s ceasefire motion, Labour’s amendment to that after admitting to Sky News that he’d spoken to the Israeli President Isaac Herzog. Why he tied those two things together on camera I can only assume is because he clearly didn’t see how that would come across, that he’s a state actor for another state and it’s a mystery what Sky News’ reasons were for deleting that footage from social media and their website later on, but not before I and others captured the footage and discussed it, so it’s out there for all to see now regardless of what obviously must have been said between Team Keith and Sky when public reaction was one of horror, it all looking like Starmer, by his own admission could be taking instruction directly from Israel, a state accused of genocide, a plausible case of which has already been demonstrated to the International Court of Justice.
Of course what followed was the SNP on their opposition day never getting to bring their motion, because Labour’s amendment to it passed following all the uproar of Hoyle rigging the day, Labour calling for a ceasefire, but not when it would come and removing any accusation against Israel of collective punishment. Yes it’s a ceasefire, but boy did he come to Israel’s rescue!
We’ll come back to Starmer and Hoyle in a moment though, because of course when the proverbial hit the fan for Hoyle after all of the aforementioned, he offered the SNP another opportunity for an emergency debate under Standing Order 24, Hoyle preferring that one to Standing Order 31 which he binned off without a vote causing the chaos in the first place.
Well the SNP have taken up that offer of an emergency motion, but of course what form that motion takes is yet to be determined, they want something that places an immediacy on a ceasefire should it pass, but again Hoyle would be involved in that. If he wants his problems to die down, he’d be unwise to not meet the SNP at least halfway, but that could of course lead to yet another knock on the door by Keir Starmer. There is some talk of them taking a card from the Brexit playbook, and laying down a motion on a ‘meaningful vote’ for a ceasefire, which are typically not amendable or binding, though Hoyle’s predecessor John Bercow, occasionally made them so, as is within the power of the Speaker.
