This month I invited Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center and National Gtassroots Coordinator for CFACT to join us and give us a introduction to local "Freedom Pods." Once organized, these groups of local citizens quickly become the community's guard-dogs of private property rights and individual liberty.

Freedom Pods rapidly develop into powerful teams of civic auditors, as more people with critical skills contribute to identified projects. Suddenly many eyes are on what they're doing; researching and validating every public comment /document; Sniffing out sketchy "partnerships" with NGO's; Revealing hidden clauses and grant prerequisites. All of those things that used to just glide right through will now pass through your Freedom Pod's microscope.

It gets better.....

We're going to drill even deeper. The concept of Freedom Pods meshes seamlessly with the Constitution Party's ongoing grassroots effort to rebuild and revitalize local governments. Freedom Pods will be the incubator for a never ending stream of future Public Servants. So we're going to be releasing a series of topic specific trainings that pair up a candidate to a very tailored series of training materials. For example, a FP candidate running for local Planning Board will enter the race fully researched on the position, know all the players, know the applicable regulations (and loopholes), recognize dangerous buzz-words, and ready to properly defend our rights.
