Transgender boy wins right to live as himself

A ruling handed down Friday from Judge Sylvia Sieve Hendon awards custody to the boy's grandparents, with whom he currently lives and who have supported his gender transition. He said his parents had refused to accept him and told him to kill himself when he came out to them.
