Incredible scenes as two young men rescued by Coastguard winchman are battered by massive waves

This dramatic footage shows two men being rescued with 'seconds to spare' as they clung to ricks while being battered by huge waves.

The HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was called to reports of two men said to be at immediate risk of being washed out to sea.

The rough seas and 6ft waves made it impossible for a lifeboat to reach the scene so their only hope of survival was the chopper.
