‘New state religion’: NSW council funds queer formal for children

Sky News contributor Evelyn Rae says she is in “two minds” about a queer formal partly funded by NSW council and government, from the Black Summer bushfire recovery program.

Ms Rae told Sky News host Andrew Bolt that it is “atrocious” for a council to get behind a drag queen-hosted queer formal for children.

“But on the other hand, this is now the new religion.

“This is the new state religion.

“Can you imagine the consequences if the council knocked back this request for funding.”
