Offense “skandalon” is the name of the part of the trap on which the bait is hung that lures the animal into the trap. Satan uses offense to lure us into a lifetime of bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness and even hatred. If we truly want to be like Jesus we must give up our right to be offended. She explores the different aspects of offense, and also the things that people are easily offended by. She shares candid personal testimony of the testing and ongoing trial she and her husband are going through to not give place to offense. It’s a choice one has to make. If offense is an issue in one’s life they must come to the realization that the problem lies with them and they must begin to seek the Lord for how to remedy the issue(s). There are things we have to face to make progress. Preventive action is shared to avoid offense and deliverance prayers conclude this teaching.
