[Canada] Conservatives outline party motion studying ArriveCan app – February 20, 2024

On Parliament Hill, Conservative House Leader Andrew Scheer and ethics critic Michael Barrett to outline a party motion that will be introduced at the House of Commons government operations committee that would compel representatives from IT firm GC Strategies to appear before the committee as it studies the ArriveCan app. Auditor General Karen Hogan flagged the IT company in her recent report on the app. The firm has reportedly been awarded nearly $258 million in federal contracts since 2015.
